Such a shame his style never really seemed to translate as well at the top level, he was a freak at Under20’s level.

Stil 131 games at NRL level is very impressive and he’d be handy to have in and around the club.

We are in violent agreement on both of these points.
IMHO, Billy generally played better than Joey Manu in 2023 and I expect he’ll go even better again this year. Our faith in sticking with him through all of the major injuries will be repaid in spades.

Exciting competition to watch. Hopefully Smith gets the early nod over Sualli’i.

Roosters have only 26 players signed for the fulltime NRL squad and 5 development players - So 4 spots in the NRL squad to be filled and 1 development players - Roosters usually only sign 28 players for the fulltime NRL Squad.

On average 5 or so NRL players play NSW Cup on a weekly basis so the Roosters have a stack of spots to fill for NSW Cup - NSW Cup squads are around 30 players.

Brett Morris is Head Coach of NSW Cup and Tait Barnes assistant coach - son of Anthony Barnes who doesn't look like they have a role in 2024

No NSW Cup or Jersey Flegg squads announced as yet

Sydney Roosters pathways will field teams in
          • Andrew Johns Cup - Under 16's- Central Coast Roosters
          • Laurie Daley Cup - Under 18's - Central Coast Roosters
          • Harold Mathews Cup under 17's - Central Coast Roosters and Sydney Roosters
          • * Lisa Fiola Cup under 17's - Sydney Roosters - New full pathways comp for Women
          • SG Ball under 19's - Sydney Roosters
          • Tarsha Gale cup under 19's - Sydney Roosters
          • Jersey Flegg under 21's - Sydney Roosters
          • NSW Cup - Sydney Roosters
          • * Harvey Norman Women's Premiership - Central Coast Roosters - will run concurrently with NRLW
          • Sydney Shield - Glebe Dirty Reds
          • Ron Massey Cup - Glebe Dirty Reds

I had such high hopes for Napa and Evans when they played together in the Under 20s. They both had okay careers but neither really reached their true potential in my opinion. Sure Napa played origin but when he was young I thought he’d play 20 origins and represent Australia. Same with Evans.

Tackles like a sledge hammer when he is playing lock in the middle third with others either in the tackle or around him. Out wide playing 2nd row he is like a paper bag.

I will be happy to see him play all year whatever grade. He is looking like he's bulked up.
