Interesting comment from Cronk on how Keary and Walker don’t listen to him on the importance of lead-up work and how he enjoys coaching the youngsters more cause they listen.

Now I know you could say it was tongue-in-cheek but personally I would read into it a little further and say he isn’t all that happy about it. With his intellect, he’s not one to make frivolous comments like that.

I thought the same thing but the reality is that our halves were terrible for most of the year, and he was the halves coach.

I think Cronk is an all time great halfback but the jury is still out on his coaching ability.

Reminds me of the old adage you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink it.

My understanding is that he plays more of a buddy kinda role rather than strictly 'coaching' anybody? Will watch the video at some point though. Surely our on Roosters TV wouldn't have published it unless it was tongue in cheek (and a compliment to our juniors who most probably hate coaching compared with doing NRL stuff).
