I'd be looking at Suaalii as purely a depth player now seeing that he's heading across to RU at the end of the season.

As much as I think he should, Billy won't be playing Rd1. I know theyre opinions but does anyone actually deep down think he'll play?

Nothing against BS. He should play given he'll be sticking around beyond this year and is a specialist centre unlike JS but logically no way Young comes to play ressies, Toops plays on to play ressies (club legend) and JS waits an extra year in league to play ressies... (he probably should, he is an awful centre).

I can't wait either, this is the healthiest squad we've had in January for a number of years. Like everyone else I just hope we can have a season where everyone is fit and competition for spots is ferocious.

Of that 17 I would swap the wingers and to me Billy Smith has to get first crack at left center not only because he is playing for a contract and not even because he had a breakout year but because Suaalii is going.

Backrow is the other area that will be very competitive, and I think that Angus and Sitili are the best we have at the moment.

I think, sadly, that Billy will be the odd man out when Robbo names his team. Only because of a process of elimination, I don't think he would ask any of the other 4 guys to play Reggies. He would definitely be the best three quarter playing at that level, and other clubs would kill to have him in their starting side. Its an embarrassment of riches for us. Five class players.

The other likelihood is that natural attrition will make Robbos decision easier at some point, knowing our form with injuries.
