I'll clarify. He has more than earnt his 298 premiership games and deserves to be a 300 gamer for us. So have a lot of people over the years where circumstances made it impossible.

The luck comes from being given an extra year to do it given the current circumstances.

Yes this is how I interpreted your comments. And I stand by mine. He’s earned the right for another season. If there is one player who won’t let you down it’s Jarred (apart from his discipline of course).

As one of my fave players, I would love to see him get this record!

        I hope so.

15 more games out of Jared will do me.

Either way it’s one hell of an achievement from a front rower and no doubt a rarity too. He’s also missed about the equivalent to a season through suspension and a season through injuries and ACL. But that’s probably what’s allowed him to play to this age.

Behind Beetson I doubt we have had a better front rower and definitely not a better clubman.

          THREE CHEERS FOR JARRED!!!
maybe not all with the chooks he came from Manly

JWH is the dirtiest, grubbiest, toughest & roughest player Ive seen play for the mighty Chooks & I LOVE him. What a beast.
            No comps in 2013, 2018 & 2019 without him.

I was very disappointed with how he ended 2023 but it doesn't change anything. JWH is a Roosters great.

Have to see if the 3 NZ games of the Pacific Championship are counted as games missed due to the suspension plus the All Stars game

JWH was suspended for 7 games and missed the last 3 so has 4 games still to serve

2 NRL games for 300 NRL Games and 15 NRL games for most games for the Roosters - JWH on 292 and Maubs on 306

Surely this would have been determined by now.

Unfortunately it seems he is hated by most of our “supporters” aswell

I call bullshit to this comment. Who on here hates JWH? Names please, or go back into your hole you low-life troll.

Should’ve been CC medal winner in 2019. Imagine giving it to a player in the losing team whose team never led at any stage of the game , even when we were down to 12 men and they had set after set inside our quarter. Effin criminal.

So you're saying Jared is no longer worthy of a place in our top 17 on his merits, and is only there due to some sort of illusionary "good luck"

It's only January 5th, but that'll be hard to top as the most ridiculous comment of 2024.

I read before Christmas that the NZ games count for his suspension and I think Maori all stars and trial games are enough to make him available for round 1
