  • mini for origin?

Mini has been playing pretty well in the last couple of weeks for the chooks, being quite safe and reliable, support play is not too bad either. Brett stewart (favourite for the new jumper) did not have a very good game tonight against the broncos. If mini does have a solid game tomorrow, it will be quite likely that he will be selected.

If this is the case, who would Smithy play at fullback? Is it too early to throw RTS in with the big boys?

Mini would almost have two hands on the #1 jersey after Stewarts performance tonight!

I still think no matter how good Mini plays, they're still gonna choose Stewart or Dugan..

I've seen pRicky in the media twice in the last week saying he already has his side picked, except for the utility on the bench.

I doubt either players performance this weekend has much to do with which way he goes, barring injury of course.

          The FlogPen .

          You know it makes sense.

If mini is selected i agree,
Except goin off smiths recent use of Moga (nil), he will go with carney (vin)
            Is that the full story,
            or is your news limited?

doubt it. Mini has been playing solidly and making quite a few eat humble pie, but Stewart or Dugan will get the job

I saw that too but I doubt it would be true mate, it is silly to place such a limitation it doesnt make sense if 2-3 guys are very close. I doubt Dugan will get a shot my self he is not 100%, I think mini has a schance. If he has a blinder today he will be the one, the only problem mini has this year is his defence, he has missed a lot of tackles.

                  Stewart was terrible last night.

The selectors would be crazy not to go for Mini in his current form.

Just because Stewart drops a couple of balls, doesnt mean he had a terrible game. Without him last night Manly wouldnt have been in the contest. The ball he was giving to Lyon all night was first class. Mini hasnt thrown a pass like that in 5 years. Stewart was safe under some really tricky high balls.

Amazing how a couple of dropped balls, granted at a crucial stage, makes people come out with poor statments.

Mini is no chance. Stewart was picked 2 weeks ago.

                      Gotta disagree with you.

Stewart doesnt even look as fit or sharp as in previous seasons. Mini is brilliant under the high ball and didnt he throw the money ball to Pez last week?
