We have had far too many decent halves who have been better than cap thief in the past, but were let rot at Newtown whilst he hogged the no.6 jersey.

Just in Recent time, Soward, and even tonight Liam Foran's efforts against the broncos highlight this facet of our club. Wouldn't surprise me if guys like Foran, Kheirallah, mortimer, and even the likes of Jacob Miller some back to haunt us. Soward already has.

Mortimer however strikes me as being a Kouparitsas. A player we think is hard done by from his old club for playing in the reserves but we end up finding the hard way that he is actually a reserve grader.

Lets be serious about his chances guys. He spent a whole year playing for wenty and even when there were injuries guys like casey mgguire were chosen ahead of him. I hope I'm wrong but we won't be saved by him this year.

Im not looking for a saviour. Just give him more than a couple of shots.

Fair enough but I don't think that smith has seen anything in him which he likes.

Otherwise he'd at least have a bench spot. He's better than cap thief but I hope he isn't a part of our plans next year.

Kearney is becoming renowned for playing favourites or the reverse, how else do you explain Shack rotting away at Wenty this year, when they are desperate for a decent bit of grunt up front in their FG team, I don't think Kearney is too fond of Pakeha boys, funny how Shack used to take the piss out of Fui Fui & now he's in purgatory!

Shack is a myth much like symmonds.

There are better players up front in the eels like Mannah, moimoi, young Ryan who looks good, Poore and even Allgood.

that being said had we not brought in Smith our side would have looked like this:

                1.Todd Carney
                2.Michael Crocket
                3.Albert Kelly

I doubt shack could do much better. Parra's problem isn't in their forwards. They're making the metres and then some.

Their main problem is their defense on the edges and their combo in the halves.

Anyway who gives a sh*t about them, their fault for investing in sandow. Glad uncle nick didn't ponder getting him and went for maloney.

the sad thing is that many of them could actually play but chose not to, and many of them were signed by our club.

A common problem with naturally gifted people....no matter what sport/profession.
It comes so easy to them they just don't appreciate the hand that has been dealt to them, unlike others that apply themselves wholeheartedly, only to achieve mediocrity

Parra's problems are clearly in their creativity, not in their yardage gain

besides, Shack was never all that good
