Sounds as though he's on life support and his organs have been impacted so it's all pretty sensitive? Was playing footy for that Koori team so must still be super fit too.

As others have said... not my club but he worked really hard to get to Souffs and is a top bloke. Wishing him all the best. It's moments like this that remind me that footy rivalries mean jack shyte in comparison to a human life.

I saw a post by Souths on Twitter that Meritt has shown some improvement. That's great news....lets hope its the start of his recovery
