Johns is borderline mentally challenged. He thinks making ominous statements and incessantly repeating them makes him a great commentator. “Walsh has done his ankle, he’s gone...Cleary’s in serious trouble...Reynolds has torn his groin“

and his trademark “he’s lame...he can’t stay on the field” whenever someone stubs their toe

I only have to watch Nine for SoO and the grand final. I usually can't stand the moronic style of presentation and commentary, but I have to admit that this GF broadcast hasn't been as cringeworthy as past broadcasts. Johns is an A-grade moron, but it is the commercials that are more so pissing me off.

The public feud Andrew has with Matthew basically came about because Andrew doesn’t pay attention / watch what’s happening on the field or in the shows he assigned to participate in he is an abysmal commentator
