Farrk me, the old heart and determination line gets thrown out there....again!
I'd show all the heart and determination in the world, but i'm certainly not going to win us any farrken footy games!
I've said it a thouuusand times, i'd rather a team full of right carrnts with talent than a team full of nice guys with none.
Farrk the nice guy shit. We finally learnt our lesson with nice guy Bwaiffy boy, let's hope they do with the very average Perret aswell.
Humility doesn't win you games, talent and skill does.
Perret has neither.
Again like always you read one word from my comment and base your entire thread on hollow cynicism.
Call me stupid, but I would rather have Perrett wear our colours, than have the Hotel corridor sh*ting, drunk driving, girlfriend hitting, selfish pr*cks wear our colors. I have had enough of the media putting us in a bad light and making us the joke of the town.
No where in my comment did I say that all players should lack skills like Perrett, but what I am saying is that those who do have skills and especially our juniors coming through, should have a role model like this to look up to in our team.
And what he lacks in skill he more than makes up for in the fact we always start our set of 6 from 20+ metres out from our line.
BTW Bwaiff is a nice guy but does not have the determination that Perrett does. 5 runs for 27 m speaks volume on a player who doesn't give a sh*t.
Put it this way, would he get a crack at Melbourne or Melbourne?
His dummy half running is the only contribution he makes on the field. And half the time it's a wasted tackle when he gets caught by the marker anyway.
He is one of the worst readers of defence i have ever seen. He is constantly getting turned inside out when all he has to do is come up and in.
He gives me a farrken heart attack everytime someone bombs to his corner. He either stands there and waits for something to happen or comes flying in at a million miles an hour and usually miss times his jump.

Didn't you say we would struggle without him?
As i said, **** skill and determination.....he isn't good enough.

We did struggle without him last year when he was injured, remember?. He was replaced by the baby horse on steroids, and how did butter fingers go with that audition?
Believe it or not he has the best ball control of any player in our team. I still stand by the fact that we should have him in the team.
Vatuvei is the most overrated winger in the comp, he's good for 3-4 dropped balls a game and some poor defensive reads
Hurrell has done nothing to date
Henry is strong but is only there to tighten up the defence.
Tupou is a strong ball carrier but that's about it.
I really don't rate their 3/4 line and I think Fitzy is right on with his assessment. Whilst ours isn't a whole lot better the Warriors is just plain shit.
I suspect this will be a print out on the wall of the Warriors dressing room.

This is true, we did struggle. That's because we rely on his ruck work too much. We need to ween ourselves off that teat.
As for his hands, I think he's pretty lousy in that department. He's always dropping the ball. Honestly, every game he spills pill. It does my head in.
It's not personal, I just think we could use a better winger.

I'm not replying about your comment, only wanted to ask, why did you change your john ibrahim avatar?

Big call, every time he runs the ball it takes AT LEAST 3 to take him down, the Broncos left side couldn't handle him on Saturday and Hodges failed to make an impact.
Before last week he was dropped to NSW Cup as he was struggling big time for any sort of match fitness and could only play half a game without being completely fuct, but in those 50 minutes vs Manly and Parra in RD1 and 2 he was Warriors best attacking threat, I remember he absolutely steamrolled Watmough in one run. Since then he's been playing NSW Cup to build up fitness and last week was his first 80 minutes in NRL and he played extremely well, this kid is a gun and if Leilua doesn't get up in his face fast then he will destroy us IMO.

Perrett makes big metres for us every game and draws plenty of penalties (which are worth about 50m+ on their own especially coming out of our own end). This is such an underrated part of so many wingers games these days. He's a strong defender and when he's given the chance he's quite a handy finisher... he's so underrated on here it's no funny.

Don't confuse match fitness with natural fitness, he's never been able to play the full 80 minutes even in the Under 20's. Also he was dropped back to the NSW Cup to work on his defence and rightly so, he's woeful.
A promising talent sure but he's done nothing to date, a few big runs doesn't make you a first grader.

He played 80 majority of games I saw in the 20's, and completely 80 minutes 3 games in a row now (NSW Cup x2, Broncos) from what I have heard..and seen.
He impressed me in defense vs Broncos and was able to finish the game for once - of course it's a week before we play him
