The Vermin can play like Melbourne for 3-4 weeks. Unfortunately for them the season is 26 weeks.

They have a few good weeks each year - it amazes me that so many people are still fooled by it. But in the end they've only made the top 8 once since they re-entered the comp. And that was a blink and miss one week event.

All it will take to shake the Vermin's belief is a loss or two - it will take more than half a season of Maguire to cleanse the stench and culture of years of under achieving.

Mate, the two souffs supporters who worked in our office at my old job, worked up a huge farce before that game. The whole week they were giving it to all the other employees who don't support souffs. They went out and bet $100 each I think on souffs to win the premiership as well.

The whole time I was telling them to save their money they wouldn't listen.They kept harping on about how the chooks had missed the finals, and that was our Chris Anderson year mind you.

The following monday they were so cut up about it they didn't turn up to work, and almost got fired lol.
