And to think that after round 1 and round 2 we had chookpen experts questioning if anyone was happy to see Lindsay Collins wearing our Roosters jersey. Congratulations to the big man he was robbed of a player of the series medal in state of origin but this medal is more prestigious. Congratulations to all the other winners especially to De La Salle Va’a his relative that sometimes posts on the website must be very proud.

Who questioned Lindsay’s place in the team?

                    Well done Lindsay.

King why not do something useful and find out why Teddy wasn’t there. Put your Googling skills towards something we all actually want to know.

Congratulations to bid bad Lindsay Collins. A shoe-in this year.

That's an impressive trophy, straight to the pool room.
                      .
Was it just me or was that streaming coverage all over the place? I kept playing re -runs and missing the 'live' action. Maybe its my lack of tech sav. Saw heaps of kiss hellos and Dave Kidwell belting out toons though.

                        Well deserved. $1.04 was overs.

You could hear the hurt in JWH with his speech. Hopefully a hard lesson learned for his final year.

Lindsay's speech was great. The guy bleeds RWB and I hope he breaks 300 games for us. Interesting to hear about him being dropped a couple of times and coming back a much better player. He wouldn't be out of place with a (C) next to his name in future.

                        Onto next year.

Why weren't you there last night holding the banner?

You must be getting banner-holding withdrawal systems by now, as it's been a few weeks.

I was a little surprised at how emotional Lindsay got with his acceptance speech.

It must have meant a whole lot to him, which is a great sign for not only himself but post Cords and Friend, we are amassing a good core of players that are Roosters through and through.

I liked the big fella from the moment I saw him play, however he was very "raw".

But as alluded to in another thread, it's what goes on between the ears as well as their physicality that makes great footballers.

This was the season that he got that right, and to perhaps see him captain one day would not be out of place.

Congrats mate, hope to see him gain (another) premiership ring very soon.

Great to see a non spine player win it. Especially a Prop.
