  • Souths’ bitter rival ‘lurking’ as four-club race set to ignite in $900k shootout:

    Keaon Koloamatangi
I would love to see the Roosters get him.

“In the background... the Roosters are lurking, they’re looking carefully at him and you’d think the Roosters have enough in their team, their back row but there’s a bit of talk that (they’ll have a crack)

      Absolutely not.
He isn’t a roosters style player.
Terrible in defence but is dynamite in attack, however after origin I think he believed his own hype.

We have Sitili, Wong, Butcher, Crichton, El Zakhem, The other butcher.

I would stay well clear of this bloke. Lazy lazy defender.

I would rather they develop players in-house who are coming through the soon-to-be seamless pathways.

This is 100% the signing to make.

Gus and Suaalii to Union frees up 1.4m. 900k to Kalomatangi to lock down one edge and a 300k top up to Wong to lock down the other edge.

JWH's salary goes to May & Whyte top ups when he retires.

I appreciate this is all for 2025 but IMO Kaloamatangi is the most skilled 2nd rower in the game and hasn't reached his peak yet.

I know I'm dreaming though, no chance Souths let him go, they know how good he is.

100% & that’s why the Chooks would be interested in him.

I agree with you King but I think Kalomatangi is the exception to the rule.

Great edge forward when his head is in the game. He plays on the right edge as does Wong.

Big yes from me! Find the money and get him into quarantine asap.

A No from me. His form dipped markedly during the season, asking too much $$ at his current level. Would cost us a Sitili or Gus which is not good business. Can't see it thankfully, Raiders pretty keen.

We are linked to everyone on the market ffs.

Doubt we are even in the market for Koala.

I haven't seen the story but tell me it isn't that NFI FI Weed.

He's such a leech that Weidler. Just a gossip hound, who has never actually analysed a game of football in his life. Here we are coming into the prelim finals and he's gossiping about player movements for 2025.

                        Wong is better.

And we have Nat/Sitili for the other edge if Angus leaves.

No need to waste so much money on a Souffs bogan.

Would rather put those funds towards a big, strong long kicking 5/8th to replace Keary in 2025.

We have enough second rowers and the club knows it. Inflating his price so the scum have to pay more to re-sign him. I love it!

good player but a gamble - how would he cope with the new pressure of being a high paid star?

He hasn’t aimed up since Origin way too much money better lock down Wong, Tyrell May and Whyte for less money
