Am I the only one who doesn't think Walker's tackle was high? Noting, it was around the shoulders, Grant lay down for HOURS trying to milk it (during which time the Bunker woulda viewed it many times) and I don't believe he was charged during the match review processes.

IMO it's pretty gratuitous to stick that one in there. His only mistake was the blatant knock-on (which the Bunker and touchies also somehow missed). The 6 again call also seemed a bit odd but whatevz - we successfully defended it, then threw the ball into touch for no reason! (That was Wongie and he otherwise played an awesome game so I'm not here to hate on him).

Robbo's covered this. This call didn't cost us the game, it's our shyte decisions / defence that did. IMO it's best to just move on rather than whinging like those bloody faders did about that '6 again' drama (which BTW - NOBODY was talking about at the stadium, it was only when they got home, listened to the media and were fed the line that they cared).
You must have had a fifty craft beers and limoncellos to think Walkers tackle made no contact with the head That or you are trolling here
I respect all our moderators here. Past present and even future. Always have done and always will do a wonderful job.

Just to clarify, Melbourne were gifted a rubbish 6 again 2 tackles before Harry Grant took the dive. We did not defend it then throw the ball into touch.
I believe he didn’t give Grant a penalty because he had already gifted them field position and if he then gives them a penalty and the game, the claims of cheating would have been much louder.

Doesn't anyone else find it a strange coincidence that in 2 straight years Ashely Klein has over refereed a semifinal to a point that not only was it controversial but both games involved the Roosters?

Doesn't seem to always matter that an arm begins across the chest or shoulders, if it ends up across the chops and if it is forceful, it's a penalty.

The Sam lazy hand across the face was nothing. It's historically been let go, the massive inconsistency is that there many 10 mins sinbins in middle of year for any touch of the head, and last few weeks, crickets! What about all the hands and forearms across the face when the player is on the ground, that rubbish should be 10 in the bin as well, crickets! Historically, Victor gets weeks for any contact to the head, Billy gets his jaw broken and it's a fine, seriously inconsistent. Seebo gets weeks for Teddy incident, I saw 2 or 3 similar in last few weeks, player falling and getting hit in the head, nothing or a fine, the inconsistency is ridiculous.

Harry's belated dive was comical and Klein called it out for what it was.

Harry Grant dives over a lovetap and people think we got lucky and it should have been a penalty.

Meanwhile a week earlier, Billy Smith gets his jaw fractured but plays on and Suaalii gets concussed and also plays on. No fuss. Just two tough footy players. Both injured and out for the Storm game which cost us the match, too.

I didn't hear any murmuring at all during or after the game about how we were robbed there.

                  Well said.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

I'd like to let everyone know that the removal of the shampoo bottle was a success and Mr Klein appreciates all the well wishes.

Great to see the Klowns imbecile colleague Gerrard Sutton missing two forward passes in a bronco try last when the game was still alive.

To be fair, it was mentioned on NRL 360 a fair bit as part of the anti-Klown movement.
