As expected the mutt will be out of sight, but I’m sure from his cushy post in the bunker, he will find away not to be out of mind
I respect all our moderators here. Past present and even future. Always have done and always will do a wonderful job.

all year Annersly has been apologising for the axis of evil and they still have jobs ...its gonna take one of these idiots to absolutely ruin a GF or Origin or get caught betting , before they require Centrelink assistance , #ProtectedSpecies

I couldn't give a rats if he was stood down or not. It's not gonna change the result. And, we the fans along with the players and club are the ones who suffer. Unfortunately the current standard of refs is simply not good enough

I watched Annesley's presser. I'm not sure if somebody slipped some magic mushrooms in my coffee, but I found myself thinking he handled it well. Not only that, when he said watch the Grant knock on a couple of times at normal speed (all the replays were slow mo), he had me believing maybe I could have missed it too. I used to umpire baseball and I know how hard it is to concentrate on what is happening everywhere on the field for every second of play, and that you're bound to make mistakes. I think I hated the last 6 again more, particularly with the worst diving team in the comp getting a crucial leg up to get into position for the hail mary try.

What chance was there of that try being scored had Toups been on that wing? 5 % or less methinks.

Klien was 2 metres away...... no excuse, and he made plenty more bad calls for us. He cost us that game, no doubt about it.

I have no sympathy for Klein because I can say with absolute certainty that he is incapable of refereeing our games impartially.

                  The vendetta is blindingly obvious.

                  That I can not forgive.

If it was just blind incompetence it'd be much easier to stomach.

Unfortunately the truth is more sinister and most of us know it deep down.

it was a shocker of a call the dropped ball by Grant

and walker should have been penalised for the high shot

I'd urge people not to go to hard at referees , they are human and make mistakes. i heard somewhere along the line that junior parhways are struggling to find refs prob in part to the abuse they cop especially in the nrl media .

without ref's we have no game .

I'm starting to mellow that Klein is just a poor ref, and possibly due to our unwillingness to lie down or milk it looks like he's picking on us.

I tend to agree. The last 6A try and the first try off a diving Wishart to bring them much closer to our tryline had me much more angry. The second try? I agree with Robbo... we should have been good enough to defend that.

The last diva Grant dive shows clearly his head went back from initial contact but then he jerks it back in a very exaggerated movement to try and get the penalty.

                        Very poor sportsmanship.

                        Anyway, go Worriers.

100% Do Not Agree, he is simply not impartial in our games. It has gone on to long with to many blatant (almost arrogant) mistakes that just happen to hurt us. Our winning record with him as ref speaks for itself. Sides as successful as ours may have the odd game we lose due to the refs game style but not as consistently and for as long a period sas we have with the Clown. Its not just bad luck. The same goes for the fool who was on the line on Friday night, one Gerrad Sutton. That imbecile is worse imo. Fark the pair of them

                            > The whistleblower first missed a blatant knock on by Storm star Harry Grant and then a high shot on the hooker just before their match-winning try against the Roosters.

Am I the only one who doesn't think Walker's tackle was high? Noting, it was around the shoulders, Grant lay down for HOURS trying to milk it (during which time the Bunker woulda viewed it many times) and I don't believe he was charged during the match review processes.

IMO it's pretty gratuitous to stick that one in there. His only mistake was the blatant knock-on (which the Bunker and touchies also somehow missed). The 6 again call also seemed a bit odd but whatevz - we successfully defended it, then threw the ball into touch for no reason! (That was Wongie and he otherwise played an awesome game so I'm not here to hate on him).

Robbo's covered this. This call didn't cost us the game, it's our shyte decisions / defence that did. IMO it's best to just move on rather than whinging like those bloody faders did about that '6 again' drama (which BTW - NOBODY was talking about at the stadium, it was only when they got home, listened to the media and were fed the line that they cared).

You'd be surprised, but there is actually a push to move these guys on and get some of the younger refs through to NRL level.

Can't happen soon enough for mine.
