Yes it was a dud way to go out, what promised so much turned to shit, however instead of turning it up, they team, especially the young fellas dug deep and showed that true Roosters spirit, rebuilding the Bondi wall, Injuries, suspensions and some dud officiating got us in the end.

on a personal note, that end of season run was very satisfying, ending the seasons of some of my most despised teams, Manly, Parramatta, lol@Souffs and the Gummie Sharks, each one of those wins put a bigger smile on my face.

so yes no premierships, however our girls are still there, we can still technically call Norths ours and life goes on

A combination of Injuries and players not in the best nick form wise plagued the season

Can't expect to be in the running to win comps when your probable best 17 don't play even one game as a combination all year.

Luke Keary the only player to play all games in 2023.

Surely this injury curse will move on and 2024 will be a better year on that front at least

Anyway, NRLW/Jersey Flegg and Pathway Partner North Sydney are still in the running to win their respective comps.

We were 90 seconds away from playing the prelim but could have made it a lot easier.

we need to start our seasons better so we don't have so much pressure on us the back end of the year.

Costly losers to the dolphins sharks raiders and dragons. If we win those we would have finished top 4 and given ourselves every chance at the title.

yeah, it's a funny feeling. on the one hand disappointment at missing out on making it through to next week; on the other the fact that we were gone for all money but came good and made the semis.
when we were beaten second week of the finals in 2021 there was disappointment but a feeling that there was no way we were going to win the comp but this year, if we were somehow to get back our 3/4s we'd be competitive. but last year was worse - if not for injuries at the end there we were a good chance to give penrith a good game

Robbo said in the press conference that there was no chance Toops or Joey would have played had we beaten Melbourne anyway. I think we dodged another flogging from Penrith to be honest
