  • Only hateable teams left

    Dilemna.

From scale of 1 to 17 (Love to Love to Hate), the leftover teams are:

    1. Easts
    2. Worriers
    .....
    14. Melbourne
    15. Brisbane
    16. Souffs
    17. Penriff

Anyways, easily the weakest of the 4, GO WORRIERS!

Hmmm, call me a cynical pr-ck... I used to be a big Warriors supporter, loved to see them go well when they would throw the footy around ad lib and could beat any team on the day but lose by 30 the next...

This whole "Up the Wah's" has annoyed TF outta me though so kind of want that to go. It's tacky.

I historically despise Brisbane and Melbourne as clubs but I would do anything to see the Riff not win 3 in a row. Almost as painful as a Souffs premiership. They are the biggest lairs every seen in Australian sport and its time they were put in their place.

I don't like Bris the club but I like most of their current crop of young players and Reynolds is more tolerable when not playing for Souffs, always been a fan of him as a player. Will actually be more painful for Souffs fans if he delivers Brisbane a premiership whilst Souffs have fallen short one year and then failed to make finals the next after they turfed a club legend.

Yeah I wouldn't mind the Wah's coming good ay! Their win against Newcastle shocked me a little. Though, I think it was more a reflection of where Newie's at than anything.

I like seeing League get great coverage in Union territory ... great for the code and gets up the nose of the stuck up union snobs who see the game as a social standing rather than an actual decent product to watch. Even diehard Rugby experts like Brett Papworth etc lament the poor quality of the game today v what the NRL can dish up ! Yet the social set will pretend its great because they have no actual idea of what they are watching....but it allows them to look down at us peasants!
                  Go Warriors!

                    Warriors for me.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

I could not give a rats arse one way or another now. Probably won’t watch on Friday night due to another commitment (that I’d have pulled out of if it were us playing) Saturday I will watch Sunday afternoon I think I will take a walk down the rd and support the Roosters girls
I respect all our moderators here. Past present and even future. Always have done and always will do a wonderful job.

This is the way I see it, though it’s very close between the Broncos and Storm for last spot.

Really like the way the Bronx play & have been on them to win the comp all year (if they stayed fit) which up until now they have.
                          So the Bronx for me.
They have top players in every position & it would be great for Rugby League if they can get the job done.
In saying that I would be happy for any of the 4 teams left to win the thing.
Really looking forward to this weekends games & can’t wait for the GF.

Hey mickie, why would you think it’s great for league for the broncos win?

I would say the it’s even better for the game to have the Wahs win it.

I am a torn on this one. I still haven't forgiven NRL for their six-again rule which was introduced to try and destroy the Roosters/Storm dominance. From that perspective the Panthers winning again would be a kick in the guts for the muppets in charge. On the flipside, the Panthers are so cocky they actually believe they are the best team ever rather than just extremely fortunate they have weak opposition for current rules.
