It's Grand Final Day! (Sorry girls this is the main show in town today). Comm Bank Stadium.

Wishing both the North Sydney Bears NSW Cup team and Sydney Roosters Jersey Flegg teams the best of luck.

The Bears are trying for their first flag since 1993 when they won the Reserve grade comp that year. Taking on our mortal enemy Souths.

I like the Bears today despite being $2.40 outsiders. The addition of May, Baker and Pauga sure helps. A strong bench of Bsker, Thomas, Key and Marschke although JT may fiddle with that pre kick 'off.

Lesser known spine players Tyson Otto and Ben Stevanovic go well, will do the job today. The clash of the wingers Pauga and Big Al for the Bears vs. Munro and Turbo Tommy Carr from Souths is important, with tries on offer.

No tickets at the door, need to pre-purchase online. Both games on NSWRL TV and Bears also on 9Now.

Exact same thing as earlier in the finals series the Dogs size is just too much for the Roosters to handle.

Slow starters again this week but looking better as the game went on, Holten & Chatfield-Mooka the stand outs for us so far. Foketi off the bench has been impressive too.

These Flegg games are all about the territory. Teams find it difficult to knock back much goal line pressure.

Can't get any T or P this half...the boys did well to hold on as long as they did. Needed a penalty.

Pretty smart player that Fakaosi, setup the beaut before half-time and did that all himself...quality.

Well that sucks just didn't have enough ball in the 2nd half.

I mean we clearly are the better footballing team but the Dogs are a low error power team and the rules really suit that now, unfortunate loss when it matters yet again for us.

The Roosters seem to be defending most of the second half and hardly got down the Dogs red zone.

Disappointing start to the day but good effort overall.

A number of players will progress to NSW Cup in 2024 so the future is still bright
