Ridiculous that any player can use rep games towards a club game suspension. The 2 should be kept totally separate. Suspension from rep games can only be served by missing rep games, club games suspension only club games. If you cop a suspension in your last NRL game and move to Super League, you serve the suspension there before you start playing. trials don't count as club games, all stars does not count as a rep game.

So do you think that is a player is suspended for a club match should still be allowed to play origin?

One small problem with that is what happens when a player is suspended after a rep game and never plays rep footy again - They will never serve any suspension,

yes maybe they won't, the scenario you describe will be beyond rare, but just deal with it with a view to the greater good - rep games and club games being separate

It was used last year in end of year tests! At the World Cup Collins and jwh were suspended at the start of the tournament so this should not change this yeah so jwh should be right to go game 1 2024

Unpopular opinion but in all honesty JWH not playing wasn’t felt at all, our middles won the day in all the games he missed Souffs, Sharks and Drizz, with no silly stuff, Collins was enormous established himself as the pack leader alongside Rads and May continued his incredible form allowed to play more minutes and has developed nicely with 2 finals games under his belt he will be all the better for it.
Love Jazza for what he has done however, next year I believe will be his last we are in good hands with our middles, Whyte should be getting more game time soon enough.

Want to see Jared out with another ring but I think we’re at least 2 years off another serious tilt at the title. Next season will be another stepping block hopefully into the top 4 and a serious threat, this won’t happen unless we up our game to match the Riff or they come down another peg.

It’s a new game now and the old school which JWH was is fast disappearing and I feel he shouldn’t have been resigned as he’s become a liability and that doesn’t serve us well. I believe a good 3 years before we are up to Penrith, Brisbane and storm standards. We struggled with our poor discipline to beat many lower teams and our injury prone training methods must urgently be fully reviewed. We lost so many players to training related injuries as well as suspensions. These are things we can fix and must. Also our halves are crucial and keeping Walker and Sandon very important to our future. If we focus on good disciplined footy with our heart we can be there in a few years.
