How's this for a sympathetic hearing - they all but put the blame on the guy he bit; I'm particularly impressed by point 3 - the "spur of the moment" defence. Never heard this one before, as if to say all other acts of foul play are premeditated and carefully planned, perhaps for weeks? Would have been handy if they applied the "no injury" principle to our players more often - must be an example of "the vibe". Needless to say, NRL are a joke as we already knew:
