With our full side now, we'd smack em.

Deep down we will cling on to some hope, and they will give it their all, but in the end those grubs will prevail.

Have faith you salty prune, we’re not done yet! Yes we’ve got a brand new backline, with limited combinations. You know what, so do the drizzle!

Our forwards are dominating, Smith is raring for redemption. Walker, Keary and Teddy relish these games.

          We win by 10!

We can win. It's up to our forwards.

The Storm’s backline is ****ing shit: and our forwards are in way better form. If we can get through the game without injury we are a chance. The $4 betting market is laughable

I don't think Melbourne have that much better of a backline than us to be honest, Melbourne retain Nick Meaney who is solid enough but is a back up for Papenhuyzen, Will Warbrick who is good but inexperienced at this level and Seve. Papenhuyzen and Coates are the two stars of their backline with a fully healthy side and both of those guys are out.

Olam comes in and he's good when he wants to be but has barely played first grade this year and Reimis Smith who is solid also comes in. The Storm have nobody with the attacking flair of Papenhuyzen replacing him on the bench either.

I guess the point I'm trying to make is that both backlines have been shattered and I don't think Olam or Reimis are actually going to tear our backline apart too badly especially since our backline does feature a former grand final winner in Momirovski, an ex Queensland Maroon in Corey Allan and Jaxson Paulo who has plenty of big game experience and has been good enough to be named in a grand final run on side in the past.

Taking that into account the teams line up quite evenly, Munster/Hughes are on the same level as Keary/Walker, the forward packs are pretty even. They probably slightly edge us on the bench just due to experience.

This one is definitely winnable for us and our team, we are underdogs but more than capable of winning.

We may win, we may lose. Either way Ray Stehr is a miserable insect.

You make a decent case for us here. There is also the bounce back factor for them. Their record pattern after playing poorly has been to win big the following week. However, that doesn't decide a new game, how both teams play does.

Given your analysis above, how confident would we be if we had our awesome foursome tall timber three quarterline playing? Pretty confident I'd say, even if they had Paps and Coates (who hasn't been the dominant player most expected this year).

Ah well, when the going gets tough...

Whatever happens the boys aren't going to just lay down. Storm will need to win it.

                            You're forgetting the KKKlein factor.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Exactly. Their halves are elite and Hughes always turns into a god against us but there’s not much else to fear there.

If we can go an early ambush and get the first two tries we are a big show. Genuinely can’t believe we are paying $4. I’ve put a pineapple on it
