Klein actually managed to stay in control during the Knights v Raiders game. Let's hope he's not PMS this round.

He disrupted the whole start of the Newy game trying to make it about himself blowing bulk penalties which will suit the storm this week to a tee.

Well here we are. The biggest game of the year and once again we are seriously busted. How the Fark does this keep happening?
Missing our entire first choice 3/4 line and several of our best (and more physical) pack members. But those forwards left have REALLY stood up for us over the last 6 weeks. Collins, May, Nat, Rads & Cheese have all been great. Even Gus has come back looking strong and engaged. Having him firing is a big plus. That said, they will all need to lift another gear this week. If we are going to beat the Storm with a Teddy Bears backline we need the pigs to dominate.
The Storm were diabolical last week, which only serves to worry me more. They just don't play like that 2 weeks in a row. They will be more comfortable at home, and they know our backline is on life support. They'll bring their A game, and look to exploit our patchwork backs. Look out for big NAS attacking on the edges.
The bookies don't give us a hope. The "experts" tip Melbourne. We are pretty much friendless. Ours & Buckley's.
Won't it be *SO* bloody good when we knock them off?
Too many changes to comment on individually, but it is what it is. Next man up. Nothing to lose. Let's go!!
We get Klein, of course. Butler in the Bunker.

That said, I'm reliant on the local council approving my building plans in the next 3 months so we start & finish our new house in time for my plans to come to fruition. I suspect my odds are no better than the Roosters this week.

I'm happy to see everyone playing in their correct position.
Momirovski is obviously the question because he hasn't played since round nine
but he has been back in training since round 22 so should be ready to go.
Paulo as well has played almost every round this year
13 with first grade and 10 in KO cup, he can finish a movement.
It's going to come down to our spine and our grunts,
we can win it.

I really like the team. Lots of height in the backs and I thought Allen has played reasonably well when called upon. Momo came in to the team under similar circumstances during the 2018 prelim vs the vermin and scored the match winner. Dare to dream

I get that the big hits and bellringers are fun. However I'd much prefer we focus on sliding in defence, plugging holes and working together rather than seeing a couple of loose cannons trying to pick fights and looking for bellringers. We don't need to give cK reasons to target us.
IMO some of the most effective hits are about timing and context as opposed to running in with bellringers and smashing guys for the sake of dominance/intimidation.

hard to know what team is best unless you've seen the boys training - how good are momi and paulo playing? better to play players in position but i wouldn't be against wong being moved to centres, maybe even crichton as well. it's not just about picking players in position but also picking your best available 17 players - moving forwards to the centres means whyte and brown could come into the team

Read it and weep.
But look, what can you do? Robbo has opted to not play forwards in the backs. Fair enough.
Pleased to see Momo back. I've got faith he will do a good job against his old team. Less confident about Paulo, hope he kills it and proves me wrong.
Our tactics and mindset will go a long way to deciding how close we can go here. Over to you Robbo. If you can pull this one off, all is forgiven (forever).
