One can debate whether these sin bins have been warranted compared to similar incidents in other games where a player is either penalised only or put on report at worst.

Coach Robinson alluded to this again in the recent pressure in relation to JWH.

Just another subtle dig at Coach Robinson by one of the usual suspects

For better or worse JWH has given us 290+ games of putting his body on the line.

Nathan Brown has been here all of 2minutes.

      It just isn't the same.

What isn't the same is someone tackling hard and making an execution error vs someone who has compromised two finals series in a row with hotheaded stupidity.

In his last 61 minutes played for the club he has 2 sin bins & 1 send off.

Even if you believe his send off was harsh and should’ve only been a sin bin that’s 3 sin bins in 61 minutes of play. At what point does it stop being an executional error?

One is an issue with technique. If you think it is too hard to resolve then fine get rid of Brown.

The other is an issue of attitude. JWH well past his best now. How many finals series does he get to compromise to bolster his own ego?

3 sin bins in 60minutes is an issue with technique but JWH is an issue with attitude?

Come on… they’re both attitude issues. I’m not defending JWH by the way I made it very clear post game how disappointing his actions were and the position he had put the club in was driven out of selfishness.

But to sit here and say 3 sin bins in 60minutes is just a technique issue is misleading at best. 2 high tackles and punches thrown 15 minutes after he had just come back onto the field from his first sin bin…

I like Nathan Brown and you will find quotes from me suggesting we should try to re-sign him but I reckon this has probably done his chances of that some harm.

I was thinking that possibly JWH could serve some of his suspension during the upcoming Tri-Series ( Australia/Samoa/NZ) if he was to be selected - NZ could play 3 games- 2 at least if they don't make the final -

He misses this week at least and other games if the Roosters happen to make the finals.

If he gets a downgrade tonight he may well be able to play round 1 in 2024?

See how the above pans out

The coach is just covering his own arse by blaming the officials. You'd think that after 10 years Robbo would've helped JWH with his poor disciple. Ditto Radley who will eventually let us down in a big game.

I am not disagreeing with getting rid of Brown if he has become a liability. I am disagreeing with your belief that we should retain JWH who is well past his best and compromised two finals series in a row, just because of past deeds.

I can forgive JWH for tackling hard even though it was unnecessary in the context of the game. I won't forgive him for a headbutt in response to being called a has-been. That is mental weakness, not toughness.

It's a bit different though. JWH has a contract for next year, Brown doesn't.

Without JWH our pack lacks the absolute mongrel needed to intimidate other packs. Collins is coming along nicely, Radley is letting emotions ruin his judgement, but JWH is the leader that all will follow. We have no o e else that does it like him. If he strays a bit and costs us every now and then it’s a price I’m willing to cop as long as he keeps charging into the opposition and make them crap in their pants.

Be careful Bates. The year is not over for the YAFI yet.

Nathan Brown is a fool. He will not be at the Roosters next year.

I would keep Brown. He's better than both the Butchers, and Napa and Angus
