In no way would this be beneficial for Suaalii. He either stays with us, plays with a better team and collects his big cheque or he heads to the Wallabies early and gets a bigger cheque !!
If Sua'ali'i leaves early then it will be to yawnion. However he's found some pretty hot form in recent weeks which I doubt we're looking to offload earlier than we have to.
Side note, Young didn't seem as dominant as I was expecting when playing against Souffs (despite the Knights being on top). Haven't watched him much but it'll be interesting to see how he goes in 2024.

I think Suaalii is released at the end of the year. Come 2024, we will have a likely backline of:
1. Tedesco
2. Tupou
3. Smith/Toia
4. Manu
5. Young
I can't see where Suaalii fits, especially after his failed experience the first half of the year playing centre. The only alternative, if the rumours are to be believed, is Young was signed to play centre. I'm not sure he is a centre, he seems to be a bit suspect passing the ball and takes away his biggest assets which are contested attacking kicks and supporting runs down the touch line.
Given Suaalii is on a rumoured 700k+ I can't help that they will let him go to union early and use the money elsewhere. He will also earn a bit more money going to union early as well you would think.
Who knows, I guess time will tell.
