Imagine we scrape into the finals on a 5 game winning streak with the halves humming.

And with the comp being historically weak who knows where it could end up. If we avoid Penrith and Klein a GF appearance isn't outrageous.
Tommy, this is possible as we're improving every week and our confidence is growing. Hopefully young Walker finds his mojo against the Tigers.

We need 2 players to fire that have been average at best 1. Radley 2. Crichton. Both these boys at their best will be huge for us in the finals.

    It's all coming together bitches.

You can say the same thing if your Fullback. Half Back and 5/8 went down.

The signs are there though as Coach Robinson is playing Sandon Smith as the second DH and not Turpin

They have 25 or 26 players signed for 2024 - Roosters sign 27 or 28 at the max usually - So I can't see a spot for him unless he takes a min wage contract although in my view Deakin , Moriarty , Ioelu are better top 30 spot options as DH's

Deakin , Wong . Sandon Smith . Moriarty and King all came through the Junior pathways together - 2 have made it to NRL and 3 NSW Cup

Have you written to Robbo about his disgraceful treatment of the Hutchinator yet mate?

Certainly have but no reply as yet.

In my view, this decision demands an independent investigation.

Are Woodward and Bernstein still around ?

The question was who kicks goals, not how our team is selected.

Tough to drop Hutch, he has been really solid over the last couple of weeks.

Agree with the sentiment that Sandon offers more as a 14.

Daniel Anderson has advised Robbo that we should not be re-signing Brown, he said there’s no room for him moving forward

Have to strongly consider whether we attend another game and re-new our memberships.

A strongly worded email to the club is more than warranted and I expect heads to roll as a result of this unbelievable decision.

My understanding was Sandon offers more versatility from the bench than Turpin. So good injury coverage. If Cheese went down, Turps is still the automatic replacement imo. Id be very suprised to see Sandon start and play 60+ mins at hooker.

Watson is a running forward, his service is not good enough for hooker. Very light for depth there if our high energy, high impact starter gets injured unless we have a young gun I don’t know of?

Needing tickets for Saturday for The Garden area (Bays 236-238) you can purchase them thru the Allianz Stadium website https://shared.eventhub.com.au/s/5QWSWC.

We have a number of fringe guys who perform admirably when called upon, ironically some better than the nailed on "starters" and "first graders".

I think Hutch, Sandon and Turps have been excellent depth for us this season, when played in the correct position. Turpin is unlucky to not be in our 14 jumper, but you'd say the same of S. Smith. He did quite well in the halves as a rookie when he got his chance and he has done really well off the bench. He has played fullback and hooker in the past aswell so has more utility value than Hutch, who is an out and out half, and Turpin who is solely a 9.

I do think Turpin has been more consistent out of dummy half than B Smith this year but when you sign a bloke to a multi-year deal from a rival club on 800k and compare him to a minimum wage 1 year depth signing, Brandon was/is always going to get first crack and get a longer rope than Turpin. It sucks because Jake T has been really really good but it is what it is and I do also think Sandon offers spark off the bench.

Have been told that Junior Pauga has been re-signed for 2 years ( By my mate a player at Norths)
Possibly also Katoa the other winger who is out with a broken hand.
                            Good depth especially Pauga

That's good news. I like what I've seen from him, and think he provides a solid backup. We will never cost us much, and provides good value for money.

Not convinced on Pauga ..got out leapt as a winger a couple of times costing us tries...28 years old next year...pretty average back up....
