He's not contesting the charge. Won't be playing us.

      That's a joke, right?
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Wasn’t Bennett his coach when he signed for Souths?

Bombs away @ Blake Taafe. Toups and Sue-r-lee should have a field day.

JWH does like to use his forearm as a bumper bar.

Last year JWH had that incident with Zac Fulton that looked a bit dusty with the forearm strike to head and at fulltime they also had a confrontation.

Apparently related to JWH's time at Manly and "dealings" with Bob Fulton

But Big Ears picks him week to week at fullback, and lets him rock around the town like he's Dennis Rodman and call his own tune.

That was pretty unlucky, teddy was down by sivo’s knees when the contact was made, not sure sivo did too much wrong.

Incredibly good news. For all of his dogness, he is on his day the most dangerous player in the comp. Who cares how he played last week. Against us he'd be every chance of aiming up in the last round and having a blinder. If he is not playing, that is a godsend.

The Rabbitohs will lodge an early guilty plea on behalf of Mitchell for a grade-two dangerous contact charge, which was levelled by the match review committee on Monday morning.

Mitchell would have risked a two-match suspension if he unsuccessfully fought for a downgrade at the judiciary.

Mitchell’s only hope of playing again this season is if the Rabbitohs can beat the Roosters at Accor Stadium on Friday week and sneak into the finals. South Sydney have a bye this weekend.

It would be a sour note for Mitchell to end his season if the Rabbitohs bomb out of the top eight without their ace, having slumped from top of the ladder after 11 rounds to walking a finals tightrope.

At his best circa 2019 yes, but he's a mile off that now mate. So much so, that I don't think the Coach is that worried he will miss that game. Taafe is actually a much more real threat at the moment, we will need to respect him.

Agree. On his day he can be the difference against the top 4 teams and is worth 12 plus points against the average teams. The other key player is Burgess. Cody Walker may be the best playmaker in the game but he needs their pack to dominate and Mitchell to fire to be effective.

And there will be less chance of our loose cannons losing it at 'trell if he's out.

Latrell Mitchell we new was only a centre - was the best in the game at centre
                                still is at rep footy
was never a fullback, to big and slow and gets found out in attack and defence missing in key areas fullbacks need to be there

in the 2021 grand final and last year semi he was found out several times

he and Cody walker obviously get away with what they want

the truth is south’s need to put him back at centre as he can’t stay on the field

In 4 season for the chooks he played 96 games and scored 66 tries and dominated at centre
im 4 season for south’s he has only played 64 games so average 16 a season, missed manh through injury and suspension despite being on $1m so missing half the games a season

last 4 years played only 1 Origen series

Gets labeled a superstar with 1 good play every now and then, is also a maniac to players when he gets tackles or goes to tackle them which has allready ruled players like Manu out for extended periods

I’m sorry but unless he goes back to centre he is no where near $1m as a fullback
