I don't know if that's always the case and I guess it depends on what age you're referring to.

Cos in general your best small kid gets the 7 jumper in juniors and your best big kid gets the 8 jumper. But kids have growth spurts at different ages, some even stop growing and get over taken by short arses.

As an example MG and Spud Carroll were 5/8s in Penwiff as kids dueling it out for rep jumpers. By the time they hit 1st grade they weren't 5/8s anymore.

As opposed to me who played prop, badly, all the way thru basically. When no one else was stupid enough to volunteer to stick their melon in the middle of old skool scrums, there was always me with my hand up.

Fun times though, in the days when you little carnts made the error of occasionally getting too close to one of us oafs and it was soooooooooo sweet, the little whine that would follow me landing on your puny little bodies. Damn I loved inflicting pain, especially on 1/2s always the smartarses, it was fun times. I'd even when opposition props got my 1/2, he'd usually deserve it.

Fair enough PR. That's what I wasn't sure about with your post, but yeah in that context your probably correct, would be rare for a prop at say the U20s age to suddenly become an outside back say.

Many have gone the other way though.

                    Yep, that was me...

The little smart arse in the 6 who didn't shut the farrk up with the sledging all day!

I copped more than my fair share from carrnts like you backwards!

You're right though....this little farrker deserved everything he got!

yeah i mean its even rare for a prop at age 20 to end up playing second row let alone outside back lol

I love the Pez and Older brother is usually better then their younger, hopfully this Perret joins the list of,
andrew johns, mitchell aubusson, david williams, jason smith, matt geyer, nathan hindmarsh, sam burgess, chris walker, and kieran foran as 'out shinning' their older brother(s). Along with the hughes and the walters were equal with eachother same as the morris boys atm IMO.

Where is this young pez playing atm did you guys say?
                                Is that the full story,
                                or is your news limited?
