im going to throw my weight behind this as well.

cronk wasnt even an established first grade halfback at pearce's age. he is over-rated. not a bad player by any stretch but over-rated. nor was slater or smith at the tender ages of the likes of friend. RTS, moga, SKD are phenominal outside back talents and definitely dwarf the storm backs. then you look at their pack with blokes like norrie, lowrie, manu etc (nuffies united) compared to tasi, JWH, evans, cordner, maubs, leilua, kennedy, masoe and co. your dreaming if you dont think our squad has star quality not just in a 'big three' but all over the paddock

I'd like to add 2 experienced forward to our team. Letting Ryles go was a bad move. The retirement of Conn was a real shame.
I'd also like a fast reliable winger.

agree on the winger, dont think there is any point in signing an extra forward although i agree that another year from ryles would have been nice. next year we will have kennedy, JWH, tasi, masoe, evans and arona all competing for 4 spots in first grade and thats not incorporating the fact that FPN may well be forced onto the bench as a prop/backrower particularly if leilua is moved from the backline into the pack which would mean there are only 3 spots left for the aforementioned players to fill.

People forget their 'big 3' are the remains of an illegally assembled team too Spanner.And Aiden told me personally about how badly he was treated by Craig Bellamy when he wanted to join the Roosters so I can't see him ever wanting to come back down here.
