I never said you didn’t. You need good players everywhere. But props don’t win you games. Spine players have far more influence in my opinion. If we get him for $1M it’s probably fair given the inflation of f the salary cap. I’d rather Moe or someone similar on around $500K personally.
Plus I’d nearly bet my left nut the Bronx will go all in on getting Sammy Walker if we nab Haas. Reynolds isn’t far off retiring and they will have huge funds. My preference would be to keep Walker over Haas. Who would you prefer?
I don’t think he’s coming here , is the bulldogs or union. IMO I think it’s the bulldogs, I have my own reasons and theory. Let’s revisit this when it’s official.
Love JWH but we haven’t won all that many with him this year. You can rattle off a list of the best players in any position and argue their importance. I am of the belief the spine players are more important hence why I’d prefer to spend more money there. In saying that, I would be stoked if we were to sign Haas.

Ask the spine players who they consider to be the most important. They defend the spine players, and they make the yards so the spline can do their thing. They are all important but you cant win without the forwards doing the hard yards first

And the spine players are the one that you look to when you need POINTS.. you need something to happen.. no prop no matter how good he is is worth 1.5M

Looking at this year in isolation though and our current team, we have struggled in attack, not the yardage battle. We can roll down field, just can’t translate that to points.
Whats the point in having gun metre eaters than get you in good ball if we can’t score?
That’s a weakness that if we don’t strengthen than nothing will change and we will continue to miss out on finals. I’d prioritise re-signing Sammy Walker before chasing Haas. We can all have differing opinions, and this is mine.
The way some of you go on about Haas you’d think he was a serial killer. Really, it’s pathetic! And who cares what his mother did.
He’s supposedly a devout Muslim so he won’t drink. That’s a good thing.
He’s easily the best forward in the game already and he has only upside. Won’t peak for probably 5 years. Imagine how good he’ll be then. Plus he has a huge motor. You can’t win a comp unless you have the best players. I can’t for the life of me understand why anybody would say no to this signing. Don’t worry about the salary cap, it’s not your problem! He’s the only one capable of being a genuine replacement for the great JWH.
If we secure Haas I’ll be singing from the rooftops.

That I agree with, no prop or player for that matter

You are an Eastern Bogan and a weird human. Glad I don't have your low IQ
Hey listen up fellow posters -
Stay on topic, keep religious slurs and slanderous remarks about somebodies Mum to yourself.
They are not welcomed on this site just as sure you also would lose your shit if the shoe was on the other foot. Grow the F**^ UP!!!
Babysitting duties on this site are becoming tedious of late
Respectfully G Man, I think his family can not be ignored nor his character.
Haas is an athletic freak for his size with his leg speed and endurance but I can't understand why he would want to leave the Broncos as they are entering a premiership window with the makings of a great team at the right age to challenge for the foreseeable future.
His partnership with Carrigan in the middle of the ruck is a big key to the Broncos success and not just in attack. Watch them in defence and they are in every 2nd tackle similar to Yeo and JFH for the Panthers.
He would be a great acquisition but I think he would be nuts to leave the Broncos.
