  • Why can't they leave him alone?

If the true reflection of one’s standing is how one is reflected upon by one’s peers, then one Braith Anasta press conference from last week is sure to be feeling down on one’s self today after being voted “most overrated press conference in the field of sport, leisure or political activism” by its fellow press conferences.

The official press conference press association was originally tight-lipped on the poll, but later regressed when pressed to stress its views on the vote, and expressed how depressed and unimpressed it was with Anasta’s somewhat supressed mess of an address.

Press Conferece Association President Mike Rofone

“Anasta’s press conferences have always been surrounded by a lot of hype”, press conference association president Mike Rofone said.

“Even when he first came into the grade at the Bulldogs all those years ago, people were saying his conferences could have been as good as Paul Harrigan…. even Kim Hughes.”

“But sadly, as throughout his career, Anasta’s announcement of his move to the Tigers just didn’t live up to the hype.”

Anasta himself seemed unfazed by the announcement, but did suggest that with the obvious unpopularity of his conferences here in the NRL, he was considering a move to Japanese Rugby where his press conferences would be more readily accepted.

The internet is a wonderful tool and I wouldn't be without it, but it does allow morons to post gibberish on blogs which is one of it's failings.
