With regard to the last try, Tasi(?) attempts to push Weyman back. His arm is under Weyman's ball carrying arm. If Tasi has his arm over/on Weyman's arm, he can't unload.I respect all our moderators here. Past present and even future. Always have done and always will do a wonderful job.

There was not one shot that clearly showed the ball not hitting the ground. The side on shot showed the ball was not elevated from the ground and chances were that part of it hit the ground. If that wasn't a clear case of BOD then we will never get one. It was more BOD than Pez's one against the Storm. Yet we hear nothing from Billy so far. I would also like the advantage rule explained to me as I couldn't for the life of me see where any advantage took place when Morris dropped that ball to Maubs.
BTW was it just me or in the second half around their 40M line did a loose ball hit Soward's hands and clearly go forward only for him to pick it up and the refs called play on? I thought I was seeing things.Last edited by BUDDY; 04-26-2012, 11:57 PM.

Still there's no conspiracy, we lost fair and square, just another perfect display by the Merged wonders.
The FlogPen .
You know it makes sense.

Mini could have at least reacted like he had scored, even if he had his doubts. I reckon it would have a least been awarded TRY Benefit of the Doubt, if he had jumped and screamed like he had just won lotto. Instead his reaction was like he had just lost his best friend. So the odds were stacked against it being awarded a TRY. That's all the pink cheats needed to justify their cause

I thought Minis was a BOD try , however the thing that wrecked it for him was the 2nd attempt to ground the ball. You only need a blade of in goal grass to touch the ball for it to be a try. He should have jumped up celebrating after the 1st attempt, video refs ar'nt that smart.

Also thought the lost ball by BJ was almost identical to the penalty given against braith for stripping. Braith hit the arm just below the ball and I thought that's what happened with BJ's if not actually touching the ball in that instance. I thought other than the 10m (which all teams are more disciplined at than us) the refs were appalling all game.

The penalty for backchat was the only call that "went our way", but it was outrageous. It should never have been given, we didn't need it and it turned the game in illawarra's favour. Without it it was a drop out, more pressure from us and regardless of whether we scored from that set, there would have been 2 or 3 mins left on the clock. At best, steelers could have gone into golden point.
Instead they kicked off feeling they had been cheated, with renewed vigour, and the rest is history.

Outrageous..
I understand your frustration at the biased refereeing during the rest of the match (documented by many others already), but try not to let that affect you so badly that you start clutching at conspiracy theories.
