I am probably going to be completely shut down for this comment, but either way here goes.

I dont see why everyone on here is so adamant we must get rid of Smith. What has he done overly wrong? He took us to a Grand Final in 2010 which was a great result especially after our perforamce in 2009. Sure our 2011 campaign wasnt great but I put that more down to Todd Carney and other players behaving badly off field as well as several injuries.

Even before this season started we all knew we were building towards 2013 and most people on here had already written of 2012. We are re-structuring, and with some young guys coming through as well as some big signings we should be a force next year.

We havent started the year that poorly. If we hadnt lost the game on Wed like we did we would have been 5/8 which is a pretty decent start.

So why is there so much negativety towards Smith? I say focus on getting a good playing roster for next year and Smith will produce results.

He's useless and i can't comprehend how anyone would want him as a head coach.

I hate the fact that he's our ASSISTANT coach ffs.
elliott signing by the board is bewildering but on second thoughts i was not surprised as it was consistent of the boards poor decision making

None of the above; the man for mine is Trent Robinson. Any coach who can get Setaimata Sa to realise more of his obvious pootential is a coach worth considering.

Interesting to see Sticky and Bellyache neck-and-neck in this race, and Smithy's support base dwindling away... or should I say Rohan Smith's support base dwindling as he is our current coach...

I don't know that Bellamy would be interested in leaving his job for life down south and venturing into the vipers' nest that is coaching in Sydney in particular...

But I hear that Stuart is keen, and several Board members at Bondi are similarly keen... It will be interesting to see what the Chairman ultimately decides...

The role of the Board at Bondi Junction is to be there to support the decision making process of the Chairman, but ultimately, the decisions are the Chairman's...

If the Chairman thinks Ricky is a genuine option, then there are plenty of Board members ready to provide advice that this would be a good move.

I think the key question is, will it happen in 2013 or 2014?

I would miss your posts, as surely you would have nothing to say anymore.
