John why are you here banging on like all of us if you aren't passionate about the coqq???

And calling the effort peahart, while I don't agree, is showing some passion. Otherwise you'd be indifferent and not bother to comment.

BTW what does Smiff say??? My iPad wont allow me to watch those pressers.

I thought BS was honest in his assessment of the game in terms of what he needs to do. Personally I was encouraged by today and proud of the effort, just need to be consistent and be a bit smart about our play.

He didn't say much; mentioned the penalties, fidgeted the whole time, appeared happy when his phone went off (somebody cares were his words), gave an insight in to the game plan that his team needs to work on: the short kick offs - therefore this should result in an absolute thrashing of the Knights next week (that's my take on it anyway). Basically it was 5 minutes of wasted time.

            Thanks mate.

I guess after that loss the last thing you want to do is talk to a bunch of so-called journos.

I gather I don't miss much with these pressers. Maybe one day Elliot can attend and do his necktie hangman effort again. That was quite amusing.

BTW maybe it was Fred69er ringing Smiffy to offer his condolences???

Right at the moment we have a captain who doesn't care, a coach who has mental problems and at least 5 players who aren't first grade standard. Is it any wonder that we are so crap?

You might be right but we were much better yesterday and changes are being made.

We fall down big time in all the fundamentals. we are hopeless at the things that should be straightforward.

Like set plays in the opposition 20. It's pass, offload and hope for an opening.

If Pearce had set moves to work with then we would have beaten them by 30.

Alternatively if Pearce had a left side alternative we would have won by 30.

We've always been susceptible to the short kick off.

                          Always.

I didn't see the press conference as I've decided not to waste my time watching them because neither Smith nor Anasta do it for me in terms of their delivery and content.

As for Brain's comment above about Mini and Friend, I agree though I thought Mini's should have been awarded BotD.
