The win should keep the usual suspects away for a few days with any luck

The Sydney Roosters are back in the winner's circle after downing the Gold Coast Titans 36-18 at Cbus Super Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

In their 10th consecutive win over the Queensland-based side, James Tedesco was dominant; setting up two tries, claiming one of his own and making a handful of courageous tackles as the last line of defence.

Well the Coast won the 2nd half which took the gloss off a little. Was surprised at their showing in the 1st half which was embarrassing in view of the rated personnel they have - Fifita, Foran, Iceman, Verrills (who played well), AJ and Boyd. It took Campbell to lift 'em off the canvas.

The Roosters' first section was a Masterclass. Pity the other teams won't allow us to run free like that.

Correct. If anyone is happy with the FT result, next week will bring them back to earth. Should've won by 50 today.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

This might be the little spark that keeps the season alive, it’s the first time we have scored more than 30 points in a game this year.

will have to watch the replay as I missed the game, will be great to test todays for v the broncos.

Is this what our teams become?

1 win & we have to celebrate like it's a massive achievement in this woeful season. Are we really like the Tigers, Bulldogs or Dragons?

                  Where's this been all year?

How about we wait for another 3-4 games before we declare all's fixed & we are back.

That 1st half we were awesome & looked like the Roosters of old.

Hopefully we can build on this.

Titans will be happy with the bright yellow cK G-String that was protecting their dignity in the second half.

Man you are dumb. Everybody on this site goes for the Roosters and hopes they win. We just have different opinions on how we go about it. PS Why do you have to use Nick Politis's full and middle name. Is there another Nick Politis we might be confused with.

Very happy to see the boys get a win, great to see Suaalii back on the wing where he offers his best
Great to see Manu in the centres
Great to see Keary at 5/8
Great to see the Handbrake nowhere near the first grade squad.
Let's hope the Guru has learnt his lesson.
Certainly doesn't erase any of his blunders this season.

good to see a win its about 9 weeks but they are a long way off...The concern is they bombed or were disallowed 7 tries..some dubious calls ...anyway let the ball roll see how they finish up.

                            I said FT result, moron.

After leading by so many, having at least 3 tries disallowed (correctly I must say) and being absolutely all over them for 50 minutes, how can you be happy with the final score line?

The first half was fantastic, but like a cold spoon to a raging ****on, it all went against us in the 2nd half and forced me to once again delete my recording of the match.

Not disappointed with the win, just unhappy with the 2nd half. The platform had been laid for a 50 or 60 point margin, but once the ref got tipped off about the penalty count, and once LC lost the ball over the line, and once the ref/bunker decided to deny Tupou his record breaking try, the intensity fell away completely.

How can you possibly argue against that?
