Yeah IMO the rule is stupid.

It's as if they've got a right to call a 1-mam strip a 'loose carry' when the ball carrier is holding it in one hand. However when two people are in the tackle and a one-handed carry comes loose (I dunno if Collins even scooped at the ball like Brinson did!!!) and it's a 2-man strip.

I get it that the NRL wants to put the onus on attacking players to protect the ball, but IMO it's inconsistent as it's a '2 man strip' as soon as you remove the try scoring scenario and add a second player.
