Mini for Origin?

Mini had a blinder today. No doubt.

Origin ? Hell, i wouldn't re-sign him for next year let alone origin.

People seem to forget that but I wouldnt mind seeing him have another crack at a 'swansong'.

The big prob I have with it is that if we lose him and Pearce to origin, we are no chance in the reg games. We arent exactly setting the world on fire with them. How are we gonna go without them?

"Swan song" is a metaphorical phrase for a final gesture, effort, or performance given just before death or retirement.

Sorry, game 2 came before game 3! I, like you would much prefer to remember game 2 and he was brilliant but sadly, game 3 came and we wont go there.

I dunno about origin, but Mini is certainly playing his way into a 1 year extension. Although I personally would look to the future for a number 1 for next year, Mini is pressing his case for a jersey in 2013.

We would be doing it tough without mini and pearce... but I personally would like to see mini picked for origin mainly to see how we go with another option at fullback.
Who would we pick there though? Alofa? RTS? Perret? Mortimer? Kheirallah?
Would definitely be interesting!

I'd sign him up for next year. Diffuses the bomb 95% of the time, actually does some good things every now and then, and will keep some stability in the team. Also has a chance to play a year without Anasta which may do him wonders.

Another positive is that he will cost next to nothing right? Giving us more money to allow the Maloney and SBW signings to happen instead of going out to buy another fullback.

Oh yeah and if SBW plays for us he'd make any fullback look good if Mini is actually able to keep a hold of his offloads.
