  • Is Radley better on Edge

I personally think so after the past 2 weeks.

He shores up our edge defense and he doesn't have to worry about playing out the back in attack, he can just run hard.

I also think Whyte is going to be huge for us.

Wong ran some really good decoy lines for us too which attracted defenders.

Plenty of positives today but no points unfortunately.

Yeah I think so. Takes responsibility of ball playing away a bit and puts him in the position at what he is best at. Hitting hard and running hard.

At least out wide Radley plays move like a forward than a half. I like Brown at 13. His decisions on when to run and when to pass are smarter than Radley’s.

Rads will be really good at the Judiciary he knows it inside out.

After today I'd have to agree. Leave Rads in the second row for the time being

This. I feel like we've seen a more vintage rads the last 2 games.

Too early to tell but he’s played well to date.

Given Tupouniua is out for the year I’d leave him there and continue to give some more minutes to the likes of Whyte & Wong.

I liked the look of our pack.Rads appears comfortable on an edge.Brown was solid. He’s a keeper imo. Butcher’s work rate was phenomenal! The Big Dog and Collins played with controlled aggression. Whyte and Wong showed promise. Ditto May.

Time will tell but I think it forces Radley to run more. He started having passing as his default option, which shouldn’t be the case for a forward. He plays better when his running game is at the forefront.

I also like Hutch in the second row, of the grandstand.

I don’t retain for 24, browns speed and lateral movement has and will regress. Soft hands for sure and crafty but I can’t see how he’s got anything more then depth to offer going forward.

The further Radley is away from half-back the better we will get, this alone is enough of a reason to play him on an edge.

I don’t think we’ll keep Brown , i agree with you that he’s playing well but where do you fit him in . Our second row stocks are looking really good . Sittili, Angus , the Butcher Boys, Plus White who could be the best of the lot . Wong is still young and growing but he is also going to be awesome for us in the next few years . Which leaves Rads at lock .

Rads just needs to go back to playing a running locks game like Yeo or Murray . A forward in at first receiver is clunky and boring but I’ve noticed during the Knights and Manly game that we have moved back to Smith and Keary playing way more at first receiver on either side of the ruck , as they should .

Also , I honestly think we are in for fun ride heading into the finals . There is no way we are going down easy . The boys were shattered after yesterday’s game , it’s a really good sign .
