Probably not, I think he’s got potential and his next move needs to be a club where he’s going to develop but given the size of the contract he’s on either the Dragons are going to have to pay more than half or he’s going to have to take a massive pay cut.
At 24yrs of age though you just can’t be paying for potential any more, you’ve got to pay based on what they’ve delivered and based on that I don’t think he’s worth much more than 300k. He’s averaging 0.5 try involvements this year which ranks him in the lower tier of centres and outside backs for attacking contribution. He’s also conceding just under 1 linebreak per game and exactly 1 try per game which again puts him in the lower tier of centres & outside backs for defensive contributions.
Some of that would be fixed up in a better system but some of that is also about whether you think you can develop a 24yr old and then to what level?
I would say no and instead focus on some of the junior talent coming through our ranks.

Judging by his stats is unfair when he’s playing in a team going downhill fast. He has plenty of potential and if the price is right he can slot in at centre , and he’s a decent foal
kicker as well. Can we rely on Smith not getting injured yet again? Sualli should be shown the door as he has failed as a centre.

I reckon Robbo has given up on the Suaalii experiment at centre for this year but wouldn’t be surprised if they try to work on it in the off-season and we see him start there again next year.

In fairness to Zac he's been playing in a mediocre set-up and club since debuting.
To put perspective on his ability.....he'd be a better player say at the Storm or Riff at the moment imo.
What a different player Reimus Smith became after leaving the dogs. Same as
their fullback.
Sadly, I'm really unsure at the moment if our structure and surrounds would bring out his best?
