  • Cronk v Robbo v King v (Ryles)

Who is the bigger myth this year ?

We beat the Dogs by 1pt

    Knights by 2 pts

    We've shown zero improvement

We're still a chance in this game as they will get tired in the middle without Papalii but we arent showing any signs of improvement

Cronk as a halves coach, no half in the squad can manage a game nor straighten the attack. if anything walker had gotten worse

its embarrassing how bad we are at kicking both long and short. we never get any distance or height and always kick it to the players with out any imagination or chance to apply chase pressure.

both centres and wingers (joey s being back) are above 6 foot 3 yet we can never accurately find them with a kick enough. seems we actively try not to get in the scenarios where we can kick to them.

We can no longer call it a long kicking game. Tonight emphasised how much of disadvantage we are at with such impotent kickers.

            It’s so bad isn’t it…
Club needs to go all out and get a big body half that can play, kick and defend to complement Walker.
Burton should have been the target but believe he has re-signed with Dogs.
            Wighton another signed elsewhere..

Just looking at the seasons were the team has underachieved under Robbo and there has only rrally been 3 IMO - 2016, 2022 and this season 2023. All 3 we had key personnel out due to injuries and suspensions. I'm not counting 2021 cause we overachieved considering we made the top 5 with most of our squad out or forced into early retirement.

2016: we were doomed from before the season started. With the lossess of BBQ, Jenko and RTS. Plus JWH and Pearce missing for an extended run to start the season we were never coming back after losingthe first 5 games.

2022: We left our run too late. Should've finished in the top 4, but had to win the last 8 just to play finals. You can make the argument that if the Klown had control the game on sin bin Sunday the result could've been different but really our fate was within our control and we blew it.

2023: Attack hasn't fired. Players outta position. Unnecessary lenghthy suspensions. Defence leaking 4+ tries per game to average opposition. The only valid excuse are the injuries to Walker and Cheese. Outta the 3 this has been the most disappointing.

I'll back the team till the day I die. But we aren't winning this season. And IMO the coaching staff and players as a collective group need to own this, and fix it before 2024.... because we as fans of a proud club derserve better

Our kicking game last night was abysmal. Fogarty’s kicks were twice as high, twice as far and crested 100% opportunities than ours did.

So what's the answer? How do we improve our kicking game?
