  • Luai and Walsh

Will they both receive the same penalty for their head butts as Radley? Surely the precedent is set, 3-4 weeks

Probably not. Not sure their records are as long as Victors

You’re right, Radley’s head butt was his third offence in 12 months. Although Walsh was somehow cited for striking twice in that game and they’re somehow both his first offence.

''Luai and Walsh have been charged with grade-two striking by the match review committee and must each pay 23 per cent of their match fee after an early guilty plea.

Neither will miss any game time, nor will Addo-Carr, who must pay 10 per cent of his fee for his grade-one striking charge.''

Much worse than Radley's but they will both play next SOO.

              what a joke.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

nein needs these guys to generate more $$$$$$. its a joke that ori9in has separate rules to the nrl. yet the nrl are meant to be the guys who run and own the game. what a joke. Victors history is irrelevant to his headbutt charge. that was his first headbutt. Like Sewwarrllleeees knee lift, he was warned and let off a few games ago then he gets sighted for a knee lift and then gets charged.

I hope this flog never wears a Blues jersey again.
Freddy and Brandy have NFI picking this bloke all the time. Obviously a Panthers thing.

There has always been a difference between origin and club footy officiating and suspensions but what is the difference between grade 1 head butts and the grade 2 that Radley copped. It only confirms the Radley is marked harder than most theory.

SOO is policed differently so neither of them should be suspended & if they played for the Roosters you would agree.
Reece Walsh is better than Teddy & will be the Australian FB in another 12 months.

Certainly better than Teddy who hasn't been right since his decapitation in the QF last year. Walsh is exceptional - great anticipation, vision, speed to burn, tough and a pretty boy to boot - everything that a crowd pleaser should be.

Twenty and he's got a kid but then again he's just a kid himself. We saw that at his jubilation on being sent off. It was directed at the crowd but was heartfelt all the same. Like an emotional kid, he was proud to be dismissed for Queensland.

The Qld-ers have a whole different mindset to the 'Roaches. It's sorta dumb but it's why they're hard to toss.

I remember Walsh's first game against the storm in Melbourne when they were flying and he had a blinder which not many players do let alone rookies on debut.
His blinding acceleration off the mark causes havoc with edge defences and he has the ball playing ability to create overlaps, he reminds me of Lockyer when he was a young fullback.
I think Wally Carr would have been embarrassed by the right hand his nephew threw last night it wouldnt have busted a grape.
