I'd prefer Manu to hooker than Teddy to centre

Probably be a liability defending in the centres because it is completely different to defending at fullback.

Teddy is no centre. He will remain at full back until retirement. Love the bloke and as someone else said on here...he looks tired. He us a champ and we have not seen the best of him yet!!

He needs a break/rest. If he is to line up in the dead rubber match in game 3 SOO then fair enough but if he is to be dropped in favour of someone else i.e. Dylan Edwards (which I think personally is the right move) then Teddy should have a week or two off to rest/recover.

After the Raiders, we have Manly and then a BYE then play the Storm July 15th at the SCG. Those 2x weeks would be a good opportunity for Teddy to relax or if not just focus on training and then return to face the Storm.

Manu can play af fullback for those games with a backline that could look like

          1. Manu
          2. Toops
          3. Billy Smith
          4. Suaalii
          5. Pauga

          (or which ever combination)

Teddy looks busted, tired and worn out. We can't wait till the next preseason to go again so it's best that something happens in the interim to manage him ... and yes I'm sure the Coach and performance staff know what they're doing !

If we lose on Sunday it is all over. Give him a rest then.

Yep. If you want the opportunity to rest players have a farking dig early in the season and get wins under your belt....something we seem incapable of in recent years

Why is Tedesco even playing the 3rd game? SOO is nothing more than manufactured hype. The games aren't any more exciting than NRL. The players aren't the best of the best. If you're choosing the best then Hastings & Friend should have played more than the 1 or 2 tossed their way. Tedesco's not anywhere near the best fullback running around. Who cares about their state? How many people can name current the Premier of NSW or QLD? SOO players are playing for themselves not their state. Tedesco is the Captain of the Roosters and we really need the best of him right now. Not a tired version of himself. I'm thinking, with luck, at best we will finish 8th this year, so will Canberra. This week is a 4 point turnaround for both teams and whoever wins will finish 8th. If we win this weekend I am hoping Tedesco pulls the plug on the reps, gives someone else a go and finishes the remainder of the season with the Roosters as his priority. Easts to Win.

Agree and Manly fans are furious that Turbo was allowed to play after his injury ridden recent past but there is Buckley's that it EVER be scrapped. Too much TV bucks involved and that Qld inferiority complex is insurmountable (not to mention the lower brow fandom in NSW).

It's now like the bullshit US "Alliance", it's Holy Writ, unassailable.

I don't remember his ball-playing ever being what it used to be. Better to have a fullback that can have an impact with the ball-in-hand that a centre who doesn't pass.
