Form is temporary, class is permanent.I love how some people want to punt players at the first sign of hardship without any thought for what they have contributed to the club at all. I know there is no place for sentimentality in professional sport but the guy is currently our reigning player of the year, who has been down on form after being so consistent over the previous 5 year. A guy who carried us when we had a 1000 injuries in 2021 and who was in the process of carrying us toward victory in the first semu last year until knocked out of the game.

Why not. The rules should be the same for all players.

Yeah nah ... Manu to revert back to centre and play a roaming second fullback role moving forward.

He isn't a 5/8 ... yes, he can be a gun at fullback but you don't push out the NSW and Kangaroos Fullback just because Manu has had one good quality game since the world cup.

It was a great opportunity for me to show Maloney my new Delorean. We travelled from Sydney Airport to Maroubra in under 2 minutes and managed to grab maccas drive through on the way home That's pretty good going when you consider peak hour traffic. On the way home we had a brief chat about the intricacies of shoe throwing.

So when are you going to step up and start a thread? No threads No forum!

I'd also go with Manu over Teddy.

We need to make a Melbourne Storm style hard nosed decision.

We've signed Teddy for a decade though.

Yeah good example. I can remember that time they dropped both Slater and Smith because their replacements during the Origin period killed it

I can't believe that happened. They may have RESTED Smith and Slater after an Origin game, but no way were they both dropped.

You're spot on. Respectfully, the idea of dropping Teddy at the moment is laughable.

Not only is Teddy the reigning Roosters player of the year, he has also won it 5 years in a row - every season since he moved here. The news of his downfall has also been grossly exaggerated. He solo-carried us to (what should have been) a win against the Dragons. He was also the difference against the Bulldogs, and even when things haven't been going right for him/us, he is still putting his hand up and getting through a mountain of work. Which is more than you can say for some.

Teddy's indifferent start to the season is more of a product of lack of team cohesion as opposed to the best player in the world suddenly becoming "bad" at the age of 30.
It's also strange to even want to move Manu from Centre, when he has been the best Centre in the game, on average, for years now. Just get him out of the 6 jumper and I'm happy.

If Manu needs more space to get moving, put him on the wing, let him do some kick returns and hit ups like Toops does, he's plenty big enough.
Only problem is we don't have anyone to fill the hole at centre, certainly not Suaalii, and not Hutch,
Can't drop Pauga at the moment.

You are correct. I was being facetious because we all know that would never have happened
