  • The Diddlysquat thread

Come on here you know it all diddlysquats, lets hear it.
If you were coach, what you would do.
Which position you would be playing for Australia if you kept playing after U10s.

don't forget to tell us the real reason NAte Myles left ?

Lets go diddlysquats, lets hear some of your diddlysquating

    I could've been a contender.

    Only one problem.

    Severe lack of ability.

I will say I did an OK job coaching the U8s last year. We lost only 2 games. Maybe I'm the next super coach??? The parents liked me, I got an Easts shirt and some Easts beer glasses as a prezzie. I liked some of the Yummy Mummies too, hmmmm.

    The FlogPen .

    You know it makes sense.

I was a very promising 5/8 not too long ago, very much in the Anasta mould

If I were coach, just to change things up I'd move everybody out of position and drop players who have their best games... wait

I would bring back Soward and then sack him again.

I'd look for advice from the local Charcoal Chicken and from amongst the Cronulla Sharks former assistant coaching staff.

Hi I'm rooster2013 and I am a self admitted diddlysquat.

I once coached the u/ 12s from my old primary school. We actually had an undefeated season....

which means I have one more piece of silverwear to look at, than Brian smith and his son do.

My favourite memory from 2010 was when braith was taking the field goal in the final against the tigers and his son was standing behind him pointing at the posts. nice to know were in good hands.

I'd probably defer to head coach Daniel Anderson.

If I were Chris or supermario I would give fred68 and all his aliases access to this thread only.

But then what would I...I mean they talk about when other things came up that interested them.

Sticky this thread. Could be useful for random ramblings. Saves countless threads of crap.

                      I didn't play under 10's.
                      My school played Union.

At age 16 I was selected to play for my high school against other schools.
I could run rooolly fast, so they selected me on the wing.

And on the wing I stayed...worse luck.
Got smashed by a big huge boy from another school, in my first game.
When I awoke, saw the blue sky, and realised I wasn't in Heaven but was still alive on earth, I ran as fast as I could over to the tennis team.

Yes, I represented my high school at footy, and tennis.

                      bondi-boy the footy star!

I have however watched many RL coaches in action over the decades, and seen many RL matches live and on tv in that time.
As have many members of this site.

Phil Gould, at a Roosters presentation night:

"It's very difficult to win an NRL premiership"

Jack Gibson; "If you can't tackle don't bother ringing up".

i had john brass in 77 as a coach/mentor in under 7s with tweed seagulls. plated will billy dunn, steve edmed micheal searl and thom hogan(muriels wedding). played til 17 yrs as wing /second row.
now a coach with nerang roosters and my team have only lost once in 5 years. that was 2nd round under 6s but now had a few draws .
so i would have to coach not play

Fine posts people, but some don't get it. They are still posting absolute rubbish as tried and true facts in their own threads.
this is what this thread is for.
