We had a lot more idea in attack, and our defence was good...most of the time.
Win by 50, win by two, you still win.

I thought Sandon went alright for his first proper start, losing Keary would have put him under pressure.

Just tidy up the last tackle options.

Love everything about that win.

Missing more than half your best 17 and most of those crucial positional players the only way we were going to win that was with desperate defence and attitude.

Daniel Tupou should never have to buy a drink in his life again, absolute legend.

Nat Butcher criminally underrated, just does whatever the team needs today we need him to be a prop and he ran 170 and tackled his ass off.

Good to see Manu smiling again, ran for the most metres of any player in the comp this year. Fair effort and what he does best.

Also first try blatant obstruction, Ponga just runs around his own player then cuts back in front of him.

Sweet & sour win. Top teams with that much possession in our end will put on 50+ points. We have no go forward. Second half stuck taking the ball out of our own end. Great, Butcher can make 50 tackles but our forward pack can’t get us out of our own half. It could be fitness too. The first half we didn’t get pinned in our own half but second half we never saw their line. That’s a huge worry. Happy to win just not happy we had no go forward all second half.

Tbh, glad we got the win but thought the Knights played pretty bang average. Didn’t capitalise on a lot of what they created & our edge defence worries me. Nonetheless very gutsy win, fingers crossed Kez isn’t out for long.

joey obviously great - might be an idea to play teddy at 5/8 and him at fb with luke out for a while. a touch of class in everything toops did. nat butch strong. and a big should out to jake turpin 50+ tackles and not a miss. he's a real tryer that bloke.

The first stint from Whyte confirm to me what alot of people on here are saying he's a first grader and we better be careful we give him a spot or we might lose him.
