I guess Lodge could of got injured at training, but it appears he's definitely been dropped. The medical update after the Panthers game said no injury concerns. I suspect that there is an issue with him, which may be contributing to team disharmony and the decision to move him on.

I'm very happy to see Whyte start this week. Played nearly 70 min and racked up huge numbers in his last game, including over 100 PCM.

I thought lodge and Gus were very ordinary on the weekend.

I wouldn't have Gus anywhere near the side...doesn't break the line, lazy in turning and chasing, shirt grabbing when tackling, no passing game...other than that looks alright...best position..left right out!

Glad to see Lodge dropped and Whyte given a go. It’s also great to see Joey gone from 6 but would this have happened if not for SOO and no JS? I guess we’ll have to wait until next week to find out. I’m not at all confident about this game.
