  • Are our forwards hard enough?

Collectively a pack of pussies if you ask me. The Big Dog is the only one with a hard edge. The Butcher Brothers belong in Hollywood. Gus has lost his mojo. Collins only rips in for QLD. Keary runs harder than Lodge etc etc.

    FFS!

Reminds me of 2006 when some people were blaming the forwards, and others were blaming the halves. When your attack is so impotent and predictable the opposition can compress their defence and easily nullify a star-studded forward pack. We then get to the point where players like Manu and Teddy start trying too hard, hog the ball, making our attack even more impotent and predictable.

IMO our front-row rotation was the best in the comp end of last year. Even Saturday night I saw some good runs by some of our forwards under extreme pressure. We really just need to get our halves sorted out which will create more space for our forwards.

I don't mind the Butcher Bros but seeing the pair of them in backrow is kind like seeing Hutch in the centres. Collins, JWH adnd Sitili are hard enough. Angus and the Butchers not so much.

Lodge was bending the line late last season and was in great form. He just can't get it together this year!

Last year we had an in form pair of big wingers picking up 10-15m on the first couple of carries. We have really missed that this year

This year is just a write off. Robinson can't find ONE big strong loopy back rower anywhere??

Maybe the could be fitter. The defensive line speed hasn’t been the same since Jake Friend retired. And the rotation of hookers isn’t helping the timing to bring the forwards onto the ball in attack

It's the same pack that steamrolled all comers when they hit there straps last year...

The problem is internal , either player disharmony or the players have lost faith in the coach .
it's a mindset / attitude problem that has spread like a cancer .

Can it be arranged for Bates to have a hit up against in their words the " collectively a pack of pussies " forwards

Somehow I don't think they would turn up

Bingo! Our best meter eater winger has been experimented with at centre.

I'm not surprised that you're happy with our forwards output.

Comments like this are farking ridiculous. Fans can have their opinions on players based on their performances and how much pump they show compared to OTHER FIRST GRADE PLAYERS !!!
