  • Another must win next week.

We are really at a tipping point....... could go either way, but not looking good.
Assuming Parra beat the dogs tomorrow
we will drop to 12th on the ladder,
and then we play Newcastle, who will be 13th, in Newcastle,
    if we lose to them,
which is highly likely because we will have Teddy and Collins out added to those already missing
    we will drop to 13th.
And.... if the Cowboys can beat Penrith without all their Origin players, in Townsville which is a real chance.......
    we will be 14th.
Very hard to give us a real chance of making the 8 if we lose this one.

Newcastle looked good against Brisbane, they were the better side IMO. Very unlucky to lose, I think it will be a really tough game for us.

Young & Marzhew have been great coming out of yardage and they've got a good middle rotation with the Saifiti boys & Leo Thompson. Hastings has been kicking them into really good positions so I see us really struggling to control the game.

Can we just call it a draw and split the much needed points.

Is there a single team in the nrl that you would feel confident of beating currently? With no Tedesco, I would say it’s extremely unlikely we go to Newcastle and beat them

                Newcastle by 30.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

This will be one of those games we should win and almost comes down to a must win but I’m worried what may be.

I’m sure the dribblers got plenty.

Nope, not one. This is my frustration with Robbo. This roster should comfortably beat all bottom four teams and should compete with top four teams albeit here we are.

yeah, it's pretty close to a must win game if we're going to make the semis. atm we're a realistic chance of scraping into the 8 but the more games we lose it becomes much harder.

that said, it's always about the performance. i still want to win the comp this year and you want to keep that option open but even if we don't make the semis if the team tries hard and plays well for the rest of the year i'll be happy

The Refs, the injuries , the draw, the high list of representative players {oh wait} , The new rules, . The list will be endless.
But things they won't blame, the coach, untouchable, The players, all playing to the best of their ability.

Don’t you know for 74 minutes of the match it was only 10-6
