Blah blah blah. Im sick of excuses, our roster isn’t the problem. We just got embarrassed at home by a team with Jack Cogger at halfback. Buying Ben Hunt won’t miraculously solve all our problems. What will is putting our best team on the park in their correct positions and some better coaching.

Yes I think thats the more likely scenario. Hopefully Sandon is still in the mix though. We may not need Pearcey.

Robbo has destroyed 2 seasons in a row with his bizarre selections. Lets not forget he farked us last year with his bullsit Keary at 7 and it's his team theory

          It certainly couldn’t hurt.

What? Getting the best out of what we have?

Or replacing a 20 year old halfback with a huge future with a 33 year old halfback. Give me a break if it’s the latter. Huge Hunt fan but give me Sammy. They are both halfback so there is no room for both.

We weren't travelling that badly until Robbo dropped Sam. I don't know what Robinson expected Sam to learn under Jason Taylor and his journeyman reserves. One of the dumbest coaching moves in recent times.

The more I think about the Ben Hunt possible addition the more I think it’s not needed..

At the end of the day we could have Andrew Johns as our halfback and Robbo would find a way to outsmart himself and switch players around..

We have the talent, unfortunately at the moment the Coach doesn’t know how to maximise it!

I like Watson. I hope the club can keep him.

Former mate; getting the best out of what we have. I’m a huge Walker fan; no from me to Hunt, Pearce, Brooks, etc. Walker/Keary, then Walker/Smith for me. Coaching would be the best option.

                          Too old!

If Walker leaves that will be a massive loss.

Careful mate; you’ll be called a troll by the self-righteous on this forum with a first post like that. You’ll probably be given some stats on pass-to-run ratios from King Google in blind defence of Coach Robinson real soon too.

                            Best of luck.

Love him or hate him, Gus Gould knows a thing a two about footy. He doesn’t always hit the mark but I couldn’t agree more with the below:

"To me Sam Walker's their future, and it's been quite obvious since he's been out they've lost all their ad lib, they've lost all their spark, they've lost their spontaneity. It's gone back into just playing point to point, it's very structured and very slow and predictable."

What stands out is the last few points he makes. As a team we have lost our aura. Teams no longer feel threatened by us as they know what to expect as we are just too damn slow and predictable. We need our spark back!

Does anyone have any inside info on why he was dropped? His form was ok I thought, he didn’t dare question Robbo like May did he.
