  • What does he think

So Billy Smith goes down at training through the week. Not a last minute injury

The coach proceeds to pick Allen and Hutchison in the centres. Does he honestly think the team with those two there have enough points in them to win the game ??? No one of right mind can think thats the case.

Something is massively wrong at the club and Robbo is a huge part of the problem

If i was Robbos wife id be asking questions as he's clearly slipping it to Hutch in the showers. Ennis said it perfectly when he said he knew Crichton was in for a big night knowing he's only up against Hutch. The bloke couldnt play as an outside back in a country reserves side yet Robbo loves him. He would not make the starting side of any other club in the comp as an outside back.

It's pretty much the entire team. You'd think that the odds would demand that just one week out of several months would see the team click into gear. But that can't happen when the coach drops the most creative player and continually picks 3 or 4 guys out of position.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

He doesn’t seem to be able to think anymore and that’s about 60% of the issue

Sandon Smith should have been in the halves with Keary. Manu in the centers. Even when Pauga went down, he still refused to put Manu into center. Robinson unfortunately has lost the plot. Manu is not a 6. We could clearly see that in his first game there. Robbo seems to be too stubborn to admit it.

i came in late - billy smith went down with an injury mid-week? doesn't sound likely

I’m confused too. I missed the start so have no idea when this injury occurred and what it is. I was running late and all excited to watch only to be deflated when I saw Hutch was in the centres again.

Billy Smith should go play netball.

Robinson has been extremely stubborn with his positional switches, but some on here don’t like when we simply speak the facts!

The only thing I can think of is Robinson decided to name Hutchison in the centres at the last hour to throw off Ivan Cleary and the Panthers defensive systems, and also get Crichton nervous..

His plan nearly worked until Crichton ran around him to score Ffs

The problem here is that Robbo doesn't want to appear to be wrong.

He had to hide the good news for the Panthers as long as possible.
I think we have problems with our top 30 and we cant blood any young players.

Not trolling but forget Robbo for a sec but what are the signs that a coach has lost the sheds.

From Twitter: Apparently Rob Toia has fractured his Jaw on Billy Smith's sternum.

Toia has only recently come back from that ACL. I guess Robs head has given Billy a sternum injury?
