He clearly lifts it away from his chest towards Korisao. Fittler is right on this one. NRL harp on about "duty of care", but when it's SOO time, and it's a likeable Queensland player, that all goes out the window and we go back to 1970s rules.
Freddy is biased because he want's Tino out of origin. Nothing illegal in this contact.

      I don’t recall him breaking someone’s jaw

If it was JWH they'd be baying for blood. Tino clearly extends forearm away from body (for the record I never liked jazza doing it either) and I also wonder about Julia whose last name escapes me hitting Kelly in the throat with a raised elbow in the girls origin.

Like a defender, if you make contact on or below the collarbone all good, a player carrying the ball should adhere to the same principle.

        If either get it wrong.........

completely agree. Doesn't the ball runner have a duty of care not to make contact with the defender's head regardless? And yes he does extend his forearm away from the body and into the defender. If it was Jared no way it's just let go

                MRC are a joke.

The media all said "no problem" and the MRC abides.

Sualii gets 3 weeks though as he plays for the evil roosters empire and the media all called for his head.
I don’t give a shit about non-Rooster related incidents but well done on spelling his name right.

I wonder what would have happened if a player from QLD’s spine ended up with a broken jaw?

This is Rugby League, not every broken bone is the outcome of foul play. It's a rough game.

They have consistently never charged "bumper bars" being used in Rugby league so long as the bumper arm remains vertical.

I didn’t think it warranted suspension

Well Ivan Cleary has labelled Jared’s contact in the Leota head knock as deliberate, said was looking for trouble and he was condescending.

Yvonne Sampson describe the Liam Martin head knock as a stray hip from JWH. Would love to know how a forward running the ball straight has stray hips.

Let the craziness and over-policing of our game commence…
