After a gritty, albeit not very pretty, one point win against the dogs we now have the riff at home without their key man Cleary.
A win this weekend could do a world of confidence with a string of 3 very winnable games against the Knights, Canberra & Manly before heading into our next bye. Not to mention we will have troops rolling back (Tupou R15, Walker R16, Rads R17, Cheese R19 & Watson R20) and more match fitness for some that still look to be building up (Crichton, Lodge & Sitili).
Our for and against is trash so we need a some wins on the board now so we aren’t chasing at the end of the year.
This period will make or break our season. Win all four and the start of this season will be a distant memory.
I know many have been critical (I’m very guilty of this) and it has been warranted IMO, but I’m hoping for a change in fortune. Robbo has finally seen the errors in ways and succumbed to putting Suualli back to where he belongs on the wing (hopefully he isn’t suspended now). We just need Sammy back in halves so Manu can play in the centres.
